Sinoma (Zibo) Heavy Machinery Co., Ltd. formerly known as Shandong Building Materials Machinery Factory, has a history of 50 years since its establishment. It is one of the first enterprises in China to introduce the Onoda separator technology from Japan, and it is also one of the key enterprises in  Chinese cement machinery manufacturing industry. At present, it is a mixed-ownership enterprise under China Building Materials Group specializing in the R&D, design, and service of building materials equipment technology.

In 2005, it was approved by the Shandong Provincial Department of Science and Technology to establish the Shandong Provincial Building Materials Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center. The latest powder processing technology of Sinoma (Zibo) Heavy Machinery is provided with technical support by the Powder Engineering Laboratory of the Materials College of Tsinghua University. This technical team has been engaged in the related business of powder processing for 38 years, and has established engineering research and development, pilot test production, and industrialization engineering bases in Zibo and Dongying city. This technical team focuses on the technological improvement of powder material processing processes and intelligent equipment, and has successively undertake more than 100 technical development service projects entrusted by enterprises, and completed national projects such as the National Science and Technology Support Program, the National Natural Science Foundation, 863, the major science and technology achievement transformation special project of Shandong Province, the science and technology support plan of Jiangsu Province, and the science and technology support in Xinjiang.
